Unbeatable Roos unbackable Premiership Favourites

There are 10 games remaining in the Tasmanian State League season, but the Roos are 8-0 coming into Round 9. The Roos have only been close to losing against North Hobart, who due to the Bombers win last night go to 3rd, and could drop as far as 4th by the end of the weekend if they lose.
Clarence pulled off some recruiting coups over the summer with Brennan Savage from Launceston coming down to play for them, Stuart Whitelaw coming back from a league in Geelong, and also snagging Matthew Geappen to the club. They did lose Brad Dutton, Ben Setchell to retirement, Jeromey Webberley was drafted to the Tigers, and Daniel Archer was drafted by the Saints, but the recruits they picked up have been more then servicable.
Trent Standen crossed over to the Roos from Southern Football League side Sorell, has added a lot to their side, but what has a lot of people surprised has been the unearthing of a new forward in Brett Geappen. Budgie as he is known to many has booted 54 goals in 8 games, and has booted 8 goals in 5 of those games, if you factored in the chances he has gotten every game he could have been close to 70 goals.
Brennan Savage was brought to the club as a defender, and has managed to find himself forward and goaling, as well. Last weekend Standen booted 7 in a display of Clarences dominance over the league by dominating arch rival Glenorchy who they met in last year's TSL Grand Final. The Roos have many reason's to smile, and only have a couple of real concerns, who are they dropping to bring in Captain Nick Paine, youngstar Josh Green, and veteran Gregg Sharman who has had injury problems himself.
Only injury has been a problem on the Eastern Shore for the Roos, but coach Brett Geappen has many many other options, even Mariners duties for the likes of Green and Bailey hasn't hurt the Roos in the slightest, and if the TSL teams weren't already suffering the blues with 2 Geappens showing classy skills, they have another on the way! TIm Geappen has been in WA the last few years, and he is rumoured to be coming back to Tasmania in 2011.
Worse still could be the return to Tasmania of pocket rocket Ian Callinan who was one of the states best midfielders, and has been tearing it up for Central Districts could find a home at Clarence as well. How will the Roos be beaten? Or more importantly when? Things are looking pretty good over there at Clarence, a second premiership is on the way, unless injuries strike them down.
But Roos have a lot of depth, which has seen them find a way to be where they are right now, players like Cameron Thurley can play multiple roles for the team. He usually plays in the midfield, but he has been known to play as a forward, and a backman, if needed Matthew Geappen can play midfield, or centre half forward or back. And Savage too can play forward or back, Blight can play forward or back as well.
The Roos have not played all sides in the TSL as yet, but they have beaten every side that has played them so far, and done it without much of a problem, an inaccurate North Hobart almost got them, but they are the only ones. Can the Roos go undefeated? If they beat North Hobart they are a good chance, the game today could be the TSL Grand Final preview.
But North Launceston are making a charge, the Roos and Bombers were rivals in Grand Finals in the later years of the TSL, so it could be interesting to see them battle it out again in TSL Grand Finals.
