He's too young to join this season, but North Hobart's Sam Darley has been talked about as a possible draftee for GWS.
The young Demon has been showing silky skills for Tasmanian State League Club North Hobart at senior level, and has been applying his craft to the Tasmanian Mariners.
Kevin Sheahan was in town, and he believes that next season Sam Darley will be off to Greater West Sydney, a versatile player Darley has been known to play in the midfield, forwardline and as a defender.
National scouts have been seen lurking about local football, and Tasmanian games and they have been impressed with what they have seen, even though the Mariners were belted, the talent was on show.
This year Josh Green has been linked as the best of the crop of Tasmanians that are going to be invited to the draft game later in the season.
Burnie's Tyson Weller may join brother Maveric in the AFL next season when he enters into the right age to be drafted, Maveric Weller was drafted by the Gold Coast last season has already shown a lot of talent playing at VFL level alongside former Docker team mate Luke Russell.
