FORM: Form and South Launceston are not in the same hemisphere at the moment, with the Doggies still winless with an average losing margin of 90 points. Devonport’s is not much better, with its solitary victory coming over the Dogs in round four. Since then it has been hammering after hammering.

BURNING QUESTION: Which one of these two bottom sides can salvage something from this car-crash of a season?

THE KEY: Such is the dearth of quality at South Launceston, key forward Mitch Thorp has had to play on-ball. He has tried his heart out and is the by far the best player on either side but there is little support. Thorp is trying to do it all at present, especially with the absence of the Doggies Mariners players.

WHO WILL WIN AND WHY?
Heads South Launceston, tails Devonport, now flip the coin. Neither has form nor confidence, but just maybe the Magpies have a touch more experience and could register its second win over the Bulldogs for the season, especially with the Doggies having to rest their four Mariners players.

TIP: Devonport by 8 points.
