FORM: Burnie is fast gathering some impressive form following consecutive massive wins over Hobart and South Launceston. Lauderdale is doing likewise, coming off its 30 point victory over Glenorchy to be just one win outside the top five.
BURNING QUESTION: Can the Dockers be the mid-table team that can rise from the pack and push the TSL’s big boys? Can Lauderdale record its third win on the road and push for its first finals spot?
THE KEY: Andrew Lee and Jason Laycock are the big guns of the Dockers, but it is little known Rohan Baldock who is second on the Hudson Medal list with 28 goals, 15 behind run-away leader Launceston’s Brian Finch.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY? Lauderdale has been terrific in recent weeks, but the task of stopping Baldock, Lee and Laycock might just be too much for the young Bombers, especially after the long road trip to West Park. The Dockers forward line power is fed by the likes of Darren Banham, Sam Whish-Wilson and Luke Shackleton and their class will be hard for the gritty visitors to stop.
TIP: Burnie by 23 points.
