SUMMARY
The second meeting of 2010 for these two teams, the last time they met was at North hobart Oval and the Demons ran riot in the second half winning the game pretty easily. The Bombers kept themselves in the game up until half time and then the Demons showed up and that was the end of the game, Lauderdale still only have the one win for the season after a win against Glenorchy, the Bombers are going to need to play the game of the season to get over the line.
In the past the Bombers have managed to upset teams at their homeground, even got a draw a couple of seasons ago Glenorchy there, but the Demons are looking to get back onto the winners list after their disappointing loss to the Magpies at home last weekend. Lauderdale have suffered a few defeats this year that have not been too close, their closest lost this season was against Hobart when they reopned the Lauderdale Oval a few weeks ago.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Robbie Devine (North Hobart) – The veteran forward has been able to consistently chip in a couple of goals here and there and he is going to be needed against the Bombers.
Timothy Perkins (Lauderdale) – The defender is going to be in charge of preventing the Demons from winning, was in the best for the Bombers against North Launceston last weekend.
QUESTION MARKS
The Demons faded out against the Magpies last weekend, and over the last month even though they have only 2 loses against Glenorchy and Clarence but they have gone win/loss win/loss have the Demons started to hit a wall? Or were the Demons just out played by 2 good sides that have the Demons numbers?
Lauderdale haven't beaten the Demons yet in the TSL, and haven't looked so convincing against them, will the Bombers finally secure a win over a top side at their home ground? Or will this be another big loss this season?
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY
North Hobart should be able to get back onto the winners list here this week, last weekend the Magpies managed to get the points over the Demons in a hard fought contest, but the Demons are still a strong side and the Bombers even though they held their own against the Tigers, and beat Glenorchy as well, they are still missing the quality needed to beat the Demons. The Demons have a better array of firepower, have a better midfield and minus a couple of loses, are going to feature in September.
PREDICTION
North Hobart 39 points
