PREVIEW
The improving Bombers play host to a red hot Launceston side at Lauderdale this weekend, the Bombers are coming off a 73-point win over Devonport, while also pressuring the Roos the weekend before. Launceston played an also improving Burnie side last weekend, and saw them off to the tune of 54-points. It was the Brian Finch and Gary Shipton show for the Blues as Finch booted 8, and a surprising move Shipton was moved to Half Forward and he booted four of his own.
Just the news the rest of the competition didn't want to hear, a Launceston side with yet another man that can pop up and kick goals. Jamie Di Ienno has kept up his purple patch for the Bombers with four goals of his own, the Bombers started the better with a seven goal to 2 second quarter to run home with it.
But they have a massive challenge ahead of them, a Launceston side where you can barely find any fault, for the first time since they entered the Tasmanian State League the dominate Blues from the NTFL are here and they are making many teams very nervous.
They became the first Tasmanian State League side to beat the Roos at Bellerive in 3 years, they are undefeated 2 games clear on top of the ladder. The Bombers are looking to get themselves another win, they have managed an upset win in the past but can they do it again?

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Jamie Di Ienno (Lauderdale) – Four goals again last weekend against the Magpies, he's having a great few weeks for the Bombers, if he keeps it up the Bombers could be a chance to get over the line.
Gary Shipton (Launceston) – Yet another forward option for the Blues, best on ground for the Blues when he was moved to Half Forward, walked away with a lazy four goals and now the competition has another guy to worry about.
QUESTION MARKS
After just 7 rounds, this will be Launceston’s third and final trip south for the season. If they win this, can the Blues finish the home and away season undefeated?
Lauderdale, a team seemingly getting better with age, and starting to show promise, are they any chance in the world to beat a rampaging Blues side?
WILL WIN AND WHY
Lauderdale are completely unpredictable team at home, they are going to need to play their best footy at home. If the Bombers are able to beat powerhouse Launceston, all the talk will be about Darren Winter's mob making their first ever TSL Finals Series.
But Launceston are destroying everything in their path at the moment, the Bombers have to try and stop Brian Finch who is dominating the Hudson Medal table on 37 goals, 15 goals ahead of his nearest rival. Lauderdale has been building a strong defense, but it failed it's first test against Glenorchy a few weeks ago.
It almost stood up to the Clarence test, but were unable to get over the line, since Launceston were able to do the impossible and beat the Roos at Bellerive, Lauderdale Oval shouldn't be a problem for the boys from Windsor Park.
PREDICTION
