PREVIEW
After an unexpected win over South Launceston the Northern Magpies crashed back to earth with a massive 93-point loss to Hobart. A bit of composure and some better executed skills may have seen Lauderdale overrun the Roos last week, but alas the Bombers fell short. Lauderdale were the better in the last quarter, their inability to find a target when they went forward lead them to lose the game.
Both sides are in need of another win, Lauderdale however have had two big wins so far this season, Devonport are struggling despite their demolish job on the Bulldogs. The Bombers will hope that Jamie Di Ienno can continue his fine work up forward and drive home a win against the Northern Magpies.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Justin Rodman (Devonport) There has not been a lot of good signs so far for Devonport, but the addition of Rodman who is now the vice captain of Devonport has seen at least one shining light. 5 goals against Hobart was not enough to help the Magpies against the Tigers.
Jamie DiIenno (Lauderdale) Helped sparked the revival of the Bombers last weekend against the Roos, kicked himself 4 goals, and will be the man the Bombers will need to drive them home.
QUESTION MARKS
Can the Magpies find some support for Vice Captain Justin Rodman who has been one of the best for the Northern Magpies so far this season?
Darren Winter loves a win on the road and his Bombers almost got a big one last weekend, can he keep his perfect intrastate record in 2011 going?
WILL WIN AND WHY
The form line of Lauderdale appears to ascending, but the same cannot be said for their opponents Devonport. Apart from a big surprise win over South Launceston which probably says more about the vanquished than the victors the northern Magpies have barely been competitive all season. After a week battling against Clarence Coach Brett Geappen in the media about the merits of his side, Winter and the Bombers cannot simply afford to drop this game. If the Bombers wish to play finals this season, for the first time in their State League life they'll need to play their best and beat Devonport.
The Bombers like the Magpies are only young, and have a lot of inexperienced players but the Bombers look like that are on the improve and should get over the line this weekend.
PREDICTION
Lauderdale by 30-points
