PREVIEW
Last weekend was disappointing for both sides, albeit for different reasons, a couple of early injuries hindered a disappointing Burnie side last weekend when they crashed to a 54-point loss to the Demons. It was the Dockers first real test this season, and they were on the road and they finished well short of coming away with points. North Launceston was at home to the undefeated Magpies last weekend, and they jumped the Magpies early racing out to an early lead, but was eventually reeled in and were overrun in the second half.
It was the second biggest loss in a row for the Bombers, after being thumped in their first test last weekend against Launceston by 97-points. It was a 14 goal to 6 second half that saw the Bombers unable to keep with the Magpies, though Darren Crawford was trying to revive the Bombers. But the final quarter belonged to former AFL Brownlow Medallist Jason Akermanis and Glenorchy remained undefeated.
This weekend both sides in need of a win to keep themselves on course, face off at West Park on Saturday Afternoon. Burnie have themselves a welcomed addition, another former Essendon player in Andrew Lee, the former key position player returns to the state via 2 years in the SANFL after his AFL dream was cut short when he was delisted.
But the Dockers face this week without another former AFL star Luke Shackleton, who had a brief spell with Collingwood, and youngster Zac Hislop both men are injured. The Bombers had their own injury scares last weekend, but it appears they have run them off and will line up against the Dockers on Saturday.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Andrew Lee (Burnie) - The Former Essendon player makes his debut for the Dockers this weekend, with Laycock starting to play his best for the Dockers, having this 195cm key position player in the forward line could lift the Dockers.
Shane Wager (North Launceston) - One of a few key contributors to the Bombers this season and was one of the players helping drive the Bombers forward last weekend with Crawford, O'Sign, Praciak, they will hope that this vet of the side can help them this week too.
QUESTION MARKS
The Dockers have themselves another former Essendon player making his debut this weekend in Andy Lee, the former Bomber comes to Tasmania after a stint in the SANFL, but how will he go on debut against the tougher Bombers line up?
Can North Launceston develop themselves some youngsters to assist their regular key players in O'Sign, Wager, Crawford and Praciak? Two weeks in a row the Bombers have been smashed first by Launceston and now by Glenorchy, can the Bombers bounce back away to Burnie?
WILL WIN AND WHY
The Dockers have suffered two key injuries from their loss last week and will be hoping without Hislop and Shackleton they can be competitive against the Bombers. Both men are big loses to this Burnie side, especially Shackleton. They take the gloss off the big inclusion of Lee this weekend, the rest of the competition are waiting for the Bombers to show something under pressure. Instead of just beating the lower teams, and getting belted by the bigger teams.
The Bombers had a good start to last season, but once their challengers came after beating an injury ravaged Glenorchy they faded away. The inclusion of Andy Lee might just be enough for the Dockers this weekend, especially if his former Essendon team mate Laycock can continue his gradual improvement.
This is a game the Dockers can win, it's a game too that if the Bombers wanted to be taken seriously again could also win. The Bombers would be down on confidence after pushing Glenorchy all game and then getting hammered late, and the Dockers who were also belted last week have home ground advantage.
Burnie also have the advantage of two former AFL stars in their side, minus the on field leadership of Shackleton they will look to Laycock to give his knowledge of being a footy veteran.
