FORM: Clarence's 10 game winning-streak came to an end in the worse possible fashion for the Roos a loss to arch-enemy Glenorchy last round. Hobart was plucky early against Launceston at Windsor Park but was eventually steam-rolled like so many others, recording the Tigers ninth straight defeat.
BURNING QUESTION: Can Clarence get back to its premiership winning form with the season so close? Can Hobart take one last win from 2011 season and lift its flagging morale?
THE KEY: Clarence on-baller Jackson O'Brien has been in scintillating form, being the Roos best player in his last two games. He has been showing the form that attracted the attention of SANFL powerhouse Central District during the off-season with his inside work and outside hard running. He would be the only competition to Cameron Thurley in the Roos best and fairest count.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY? Hobart has endured a horror season no wins since round six, continued speculation and doubt over the club's TSL future and a host of injuries. And it won't get any better today. The two previous meetings this season between the Roos and the Tigers has resulted in 82 and 133-point hidings. The class difference between these two is just too great to see an upset here. Clarence had its pride pricked by Glenorchy last round and will be looking to bounce back on its home turf against an inferior opponent. This could get ugly.
TIP: Clarence by 92 points.
