FORM: After lean recent form, Lauderdale bounced back with an impressive 25-point win at home over North Hobart to jump off the bottom of the ladder. North Launceston's form line has dipped with consecutive losses and just one win in the past four rounds.
BURNING QUESTION: Can Lauderdale string good performances together or will the young Southern Bombers, content with last week's effort, revert back to their previously poor form? Is it déjà vu for the Northern Bombers who threw away an impressive start to last season to miss out on the finals?
THE KEY: North Launceston livewire forward Darren Crawford is a dangerous match-up for any side. Fast and a good mark for his size, he has torched many a TSL steam on his way to 43 goals this season. If Lauderdale cannot get the right matchup or stop his supply from the midfield, Crawford could boot the Northern Bombers back onto the winner's list.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY: Lauderdale is definitely a much tougher opposition at home, but the Southern Bombers are ninth for a reason. They have been inconsistent on occasion and downright ordinary at other times during the season. North Launceston's spot in the top six could well be in jeopardy if it drops this game, so even with its recent form slump, it is best to give them one last chance.
TIP: North Launceston by 18 points.
