FORM: North Hobart was brought back to earth at the hands of Clarence with a 44-point loss at Bellerive. Devonport is just looking for the season end after it suffered its eighth straight loss last round, this time to Coastal rival Burnie.
BURNING QUESTION: Can North Hobart put its mid-season slump behind it and make a late finals charge? Can Devonport get anything out of this season?
THE KEY: Centre half-forward Zeke Gardam showed flashes of brilliance last season but this year has been much more consistent. He has been arguably the Demons best player in the last fortnight with five goals in the win over Glenorchy and four of North Hobart's six in the loss to Clarence.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY? North Hobart needs everything to go right for it to make the finals. It has by far the worst percentage of any of the finals contenders and needs not just a win, but a big victory to storm up the ladder. Devonport does not have any artillery to stop a team with finals aspirations, and the bus trip south is just going to make the task even harder.
TIP: North Hobart by 58 points.
