FORM: Clarence continues to rumble along beautifully. Last round's 44-point win over North Hobart being its eighth straight victory. After sneaking up to third, North Launceston was thumped by 57-points by Lauderdale at Lauderdale.
BURNING QUESTION: Can Clarence's new forward press result in its third TSL flag? Can North Launceston step up from the pack and show it is a worthy contender?
THE KEY: Clarence key defender Gregg Sharman is arguably in the form of his career. The former Devil has been a brick wall for opposing sides, not only shutting down the key forwards but rebounding as well. He has been in super form recently, being named in the best in three of the Roos past four games.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY? Again North Launceston looks a rung below the TSL's very best. The Northern Bombers rely too heavily upon Shane Wager, Allan O'Sign and Darren Crawford. While Clarence has the TSL's best player in Cameron Thurley, there are plenty of other stars to offer support. The Roos at Bellerive is just too tough a task for the Northern Bombers.
TIP: Clarence by 39 points.
