Preview

Sourced: AFL Tasmania

FORM: Glenorchy’s form line is finally heading up after recording consecutive wins for the first time this season following victories over Hobart and North Hobart. Lauderdale showed some real fight against ladder-leader Clarence last week before being overwhelmed to stay rooted to last spot.

BURNING QUESTION: Is Glenorchy finally approaching full flight? Can Lauderdale repeat its best ever win with another victory over the Southern Magpies at KGV?

THE KEY: The double Bs – Jaye Bowden and Jonathon Bowring are Glenorchy’s two classiest players who can turn a match from the midfield or in attack. What Bowden and Bowring possess is exactly what Lauderdale miss most – a couple of players with that polish and real match-winning attributes.

WHO WILL WIN AND WHY:
Glenorchy got caught with its pants down once by Lauderdale this season, it is hard to imagine it happening again. The Magpies simply can’t afford to undo all their recent work by dropping a home game to the bottom-placed Southern Bombers for the second time
this season.

TIP:
Glenorchy by 32 points.
