FORM: Lauderdale continues to stay in the finals hunt thanks to those stumbling above it more than its own form. The southern Bombers were given a lesson with an 11-goal thumping by Clarence last week. North Launceston has snuck up to third on the back of three straight wins, but only defeated bottom side Devonport by 36-points last round.
BURNING QUESTION: Can Lauderdale take a big scalp and continue to push for its first finals action? Can the Northern Bombers hold onto third spot for at least another round with a win at Lauderdale?
THE KEY: Small forward Allan O'Sign has been in scintillating form recently. He has kicked 12 goals in the last three weeks, including a best on ground five-goal performance against Devonport last round.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY? The Northern Bombers face a true test of their character and top-three ambitions when they make the long trip south to Lauderdale. Their southern namesakes have a knack of spoiling the party. This could be jus the scalp Lauderdale is looking for to keep its finals hopes alive, especially with North Launceston former AFL listed ruckman Paul O'Shea ruled out for the season with a knee injury.
TIP: Lauderdale by 11 points.
