FORM: Launceston has now won three on the trot and seems to be building winning momentum. Lauderdale chalked up its second win of the season with a gutsy win over Hobart at the TCA Ground.
BURNING QUESTION: Is Launceston preparing for a charge at the very pointy end of the ladder? Can Lauderdale play at the level and consistency two weeks in a row?
THE KEY: There is no doubt Launceston possesses a powerful forward line, led by Brian Finch and Nathan O’Donoghue. Lauderdale could struggle to match up on this duo, especially if the Blues midfield can dominate as it has done in recent weeks.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY: Lauderdale upset the Blues in Launceston last season, but it is hard to imagine this upset recurring this year. There is little doubt the Southern Bombers will be gallant, but led by the likes of Scott Stephens, Beau Green and inform ruckman Andrea Miar, the Blues should be too tough for the visitors to crack.
TIP: Launceston by 36 point
