PREVIEW

FORM: Glenorchy's form has completely deserted it in recent weeks, with three straight losses to Launceston, Clarence and last week on the road to Devonport. After surging into the top six, Hobart put in a shocker last week against previously bottom-placed Lauderdale, going down at home and missing out on a chance to put two games between itself and the seventh-placed Southern Magpies.
BURNING QUESTION: Can Glenorchy keep its season alive with a win at home? Which Hobart will turn up - the tenacious Tigers that ran over North Hobart two rounds ago or the toothless Tigers that went down without a fight to Lauderdale last week?
THE KEY: It might just be the mental attitude of either side that could be the difference. Glenorchy has been hit hard by injury and departures, with this week’s team featuring just 10 players from last year's grand final side. Hobart has been mentally inconsistent all season, mixing the very good with the atrocious - sometimes even in the same game.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY: Almost impossible to split. The Magpies have won only one of their five home games so far this season, but that win was against the Tigers in round two. Hobart seemingly has a more settled side and goes in with the knowledge a win would give it a nice little buffer in the top six. Glenorchy does regain captain Jesse Crouch and David O'Garey, but the Magpies form in recent weeks is too poor to tip them.
TIP: Hobart by 8 points
