PREVIEW
Preview Sourced From: AFL Tasmania
FORM: Burnie was well beaten by Launceston last week but does have the ability to pull out a big performance, especially at home. North Hobart was smashed by Clarence last round, and has dropped from second to fourth over the past month as its form line has dipped.
BURNING QUESTION: Will the sight of so many former Dockers in their new North Hobart jumpers inspire Burnie to cause an upset? Can North Hobart put last round’s brutal demolition at the hands of Clarence behind it and bounce back?
THE KEY: Former Docker Jesse Wells may hold the game in his hand. The big Demon has been one of the North’s best this season. He has played mostly in a key defensive post but has gone forward with great effect. Burnie does not appear to have anyone capable of matching up on Wells.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY: Burnie will come out hard with a point to prove against the Demons, now coached by former Docker Clinton Brown. But even with the loss of Nathan Street, North Hobart should prevail in a tight and what might be very physical contest.
TIP: North Hobart by 14 points.
