CLARENCE could not be better prepared for next week's first final against Launceston at Bellerive after comfortably disposing of Eastern Shore rival Lauderdale yesterday.

The Roos extended their lead at every change to run out 19.12 (126) to 9.5 (69) victors but more importantly came through the match unscathed.
Clarence's Josh Green takes a mark in front of his Lauderdale opponent.

After a shaky start, the Roos pulled away to open a 32-point margin heading into time-on in the second quarter.

Two late goals to the Bombers, the second a freak effort from Jake Gilbee who dribbled the ball through from an impossible angle from about 25m, reduced the margin to 21 at half time.

However, as it has done all TSL season, Clarence found another gear to pile on 7.2 to 1.0 in the third term.

Five goals in eight minutes, including four in a row to elusive forward Trent Standen, killed off the game as a contest before the last quarter became a scrap with four of the seven goals to both sides involving 50m penalties and a free kick.

Selection will be a headache for coach Brett Geappen this week with skipper Nick Paine, midfielders Matthew Geappen and Jackson O'Brien and defender Cameron Blight all set to slot straight back into the line-up.

"We will have a 100 per cent healthy list to pick from," Geappen said.

"From a list management point of view we will be cherry ripe.

"I'm not looking forward to it from a match committee point of view, it's going to be tough. We just need to pick the best side to take on Launceston.

"We have been building momentum in the past couple of weeks and getting back to the brand of footy we played for the majority of the year."

Tagger Clint Riley had a day out for the victors, laying 15 tackles and kicking three goals.

Standen finished with five, Aaron French and Matthew Drury kicked three each and Josh Green gathered a heap of possessions and two goals.

Though admitting his team was beaten by a better outfit, Bomber coach Darren Winter said: "It doesn't help when you can't understand most of the umpires' decisions.

"If there was a next week, we would be dropping a couple of our boys and hopefully those guys will get dropped from finals umpiring.

"We will watch the tape, we will talk to [AFL Tasmanian Umpire Manager] Michael Brown next week, we were dumbfounded."
