Clarence's Ben Setchell has moved to DOSA in the old scholars and will take on an assistant coaching role. Clarence also welcomes Zac Mastrocola from North Hobart, Jake Cox from Glenorchy, and Chris Hensby from Clarence.
Glenorchy's Clinton Brown has given up on the club after only half a season by joining the Central Hawks in the SFL. Its his fourth club since 2009.
Glenorchy has announced former Melbourne draftee, and former Glenorchy, Tassie Devil, and North Launceston player Ben Beams as their new coach for 2012. Glenorchy and Byron Howard agreed to part ways mid-season and Kim Excell took over, from there Glenorchy started their fight back now Ben Beams who has coached in the ODFA and also coached Myrtleford will coach
Bart McCulloch has returned to Tasmania and re-joined his junior club in South Launceston, Bart was drafted by the Brisbane Lions, and then was delisted, he was given another shot on the rookie list but was again delisted.
Mitch Thorp has been appointed the new coach of the Bulldogs for next season, Thorp came to the club this season after returning to the state, now he's taken over from Dale Chugg who surprised everyone by quitting the position.
Hobart Assistant Coach Michael Cassidy has signed with Lauderdale FC in the exact same role. He says that Hobarts current off the field problems were not the reason for the move, saying he couldn't resist a coaching role with Darren Winter. Winter said that Cassidy was the biggest signing in some time.
But Hobart will not go down with a fight with president Phil Baker telling WIN that if Cassidy leaves the tigers, he will not be able to play for any club next season.
And North Launceston's Darren Crawford has knocked back offers from the VFL and Launceston by resigning for the bombers.
