FORM: Launceston was not great in defeating South Launceston last week, but still registered its fourth win of the season and its second on the trot. Burnie surprised all by downing North Launceston at West Park to show it cannot be taken lightly.
BURNING QUESTION: Can Launceston perform consistently at a high level or does it need a real challenge to bring out its best? Can Burnie upset the highly-fancied Blues for the second time this season?
KEY: Launceston has damaging forwards in Brian Finch and Nathan O’Donoghue that will further test the young Dockers. The forward line power is well served by a strong midfield led by Scott Stephens and inform ruckman Andrea Miar.
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY: Burnie caught the Blues off guard in round two, but Launceston won’t fall for the same trick this time round. A loss to the Dockers would have undone all the good work Launceston has done in recent weeks and put it back into the pack fighting it out for a top six position.
TIP: Launceston by 24 points.
