PREVIEW
Glenorchy's fine start to their Tasmanian State League season continued last weekend when they were too strong for a Hobart side that wouldn't go away. It took a big last quarter from the Pies to set up their 2nd win this season. Lauderdale looked like they were going to secure a massive Round 1 win over North Hobart but the Demons fought back and ran over the Bombers.
The Demons pulled out a seven-goal-to-one last quarter to secure the win, but the Magpies had way too much class at the TCA Ground. New recruit Ben Reynolds bobbed up late in the game and kicked some goals, Rhys Mott had his best game since coming down from the Northern Magpies.
Glenorchy have had the better of the Bombers in recent times, however Round 3 last season a famous Lauderdale win came about when they lead the Pies for most of the day and then with the last kick of the game the new Glenorchy co-captain Bowring had the chance to draw the game but he missed handing Lauderdale the win.
But Glenorchy has gotten their revenge on the Bombers, can the Magpies continue their winning streak heading into the bye they have next week? Or are the Bomber going to travel to KGV Oval and pull off an unlikely win?

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Rhys Mott (Glenorchy) – Played his best game for the club last weekend, and was one of many standouts, the young midfielder can very well be a big part of the Magpies' tilt at the flag this season.
Jamie Diienno (Lauderdale) – Booted for goals for the Bombers in their loss to the Dees last weekend, has always been one of the best for the Bombers, they are going to need a lot out of him if they are a chance.
QUESTION MARKS
Can Magpies co-captain Jaye Bowden and Rhys Mott to continue the good form for the Magpies and put their names forward for a future aFL mature-age rookie spots?
Can Lauderdale close down the Glenorchy star-studded midfield and win enough of the ball to upset Glenorchy? They stuck with the Demons for three quarters, can they go one better and beat the Pies?
WHO WILL WIN AND WHY
Glenorchy has been in fine form so far this season, with their first win this season over Clarence, and then up at the TCA Ground against Hobart. It's hard to go past Glenorchy when you have Jason Akermanis finding form now, Jake Cox, and Nathan Matthews playing cameo roles for the Pies. Last weekend even saw 6 goals from Jaye Bowden, and a best on ground performance by Rhys Mott.
It's hard to see where the Bombers are going to get the edge over Glenorchy, the Bombers have also lost Tom Brennan for a few weeks after his hit on Nathan Hardy last weekend. But that's not going to be an issue that sees them lose to Glenorchy, they are a well oiled machine early.
Glenorchy at home should march onto a third straight win.
