The club is pleased to announce that Ben Brown from Devonport has signed and agreed to play with the club in 2011. Ben 18 has played Senior football with Devonport in the last (2) seasons has a good background in Basketball as well.
Ben has strong family ties to Glenorchy with his grandfather being the late great – Jim Manson who sadly passed away this year and ‘Gentleman Jim’s’ sons – Ashley and Grant played at Glenorchy as well.
Ben will be a late starter to season 2011 after having an operation on his ACL after injuring his knee playing for the Tassie Mariners against Northern Territory this season at Aurora Stadium. Ben is an outstanding talent who has the ability to play in the ruck as well as down forward.
We welcome Ben and his family to KGV and hope you enjoy your time with us.
